Keyboard shortcuts

Almost every aspect of taskmastr can be controlled with keyboard gestures, which, when you get the hang of them, make the whole process much faster.

General usage

  • ⌘S CMD + S: Save your data
  • ⌘M CMD + M: Toggle Night Mode/Bright Mode
  • ⌘ESC CMD + ESCAPE: Log out
  • RETURN: Commit any focused text field

Tasks

  • ^f CTRL + F: Focus on the task creation text field
  • ctrl. CTRL + .: Select the next task in the list
  • ctrl, CTRL + ,: Select the previous task in the list
  • ^D CTRL + D: Toggle the active task's detail view
  • ^C CTRL + C: Complete or un-complete the active task
  • ^DEL CTRL + Delete/Backspace: Delete or Restore the active task
  • ⌘^↓ CMD + CTRL + DOWN ARROW: Move the active task down
  • ⌘^↑ CMD + CTRL + UP ARROW: Move the active task up

Lists

  • ⌥f ALT + F: Focus on the list creation text field
  • ⌥→ ALT + RIGHT ARROW: Show the lists menu
  • ⌥← ALT + LEFT ARROW: Hide the lists menu
  • ⌥/ ALT + /: Rename the active list
  • ⌥DEL ALT + Delete/Backspace: Delete or Restore the active list
  • ⌥. ALT + .: Select the next list
  • ⌥, ALT + ,: Select the previous list
  • ⌘⌥↓ CMD + ALT + DOWN ARROW: Move the active list down
  • ⌘⌥↑ CMD + ALT + UP ARROW: Move the active list up
